Code of Conduct

1. Introduction

At Sekura Cabins, we don’t just create cabins – we provide tailored solutions for industries where safety, durability, and performance are critical
Our management, shareholders, Board of directors, employees, and business partners are committed to act in accordance with our Code of Conduct, as well as relevant national and international laws and internationally recognized human rights. The Sekura Cabins Code of Conduct serves as a guide for our management, employees, and business partners, outlining how we, as a company, expect to behave with respect for each other and our surroundings.

The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to ensure that we act responsibly, ethically, and sustainably in all aspects of our work.

At any point of time, our employee can always contact their manager or HR if they experience situations that conflict with our principles in this Code of Conduct.

2. Compliance with the Code of Conduct.

This Code of Conduct defines our values and how we work and collaborate at Sekura Cabins. Every leader is to lead by example and support their teams to ensure that our standards for ethical and responsible behaviour are upheld. All employees, regardless of job title or hierarchical position, are to understand and adhere to this Code of Conduct in their daily work.

The values and guidelines are communicated regularly and included in the onboarding process for new employees to ensure they are known and understood by everyone.

For management and employees, a violation of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary actions, including warnings, suspension, or, in severe cases, termination.

At any point of time, our employee can always contact their manager or HR if they experience situations that conflict with our principles in this Code of Conduct. Sekura Cabins has also established an internal whistleblower scheme to ensure that everyone can anonymously share concerns about potential violations.

For business partners, repeated or serious breaches may result in contract termination and termination of cooperation agreements.

3. Standards and Policies

At Sekura Cabins, we have chosen to follow the Ten Principles concerning human rights, labour rights, climate & environment, and anti-corruption. This commitment obligates us to run our business in a responsible and sustainable manner, helping us comply with legislation and international standards.

All employees and business partners is committed to respecting each other and contribute to an inclusive and positive work environment.

4. Human Rights

At Sekura Cabins, we employ people from many different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. This diversity is a strength that contributes to innovation and collaboration.

We have a strict zero-tolerance policy for any form of discrimination, harassment, or offensive behaviour.

We do not accept any discrimination, in particular, gender, age, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or other personal characteristics.

5. Labor Rights

As a member of the Confederation of Danish Industry, we commit to complying with applicable labour market legislation and collective agreements. This ensures fair and reasonable working conditions for all our employees. We aim to promote dialogue and cooperation with employees and or employee representatives to create a responsible workplace together.

With the Confederation of Danish Industry as a partner, we also follow the organization's recommendations and standards for good employer behaviour. As a company, we respect our employees' right to organize and expect all employees to respect their colleagues' freedom to choose.

As an employer, we will focus strongly on employee safety, health, and well-being, and we lead the way in protecting against discrimination, forced labour, and child labour.

6. Climate and Environment

Through a documented environmental management system, Sekura Cabins will prevent or reduce significant environmental impacts on both the internal and external environment.

These improvements will take place in line with the technical and/or economic possibilities, by:

  • Reduce energy consumption through focus on the individual points of consumption, as well as the introduction of cleaner production technology.
  • Reduce the amount of waste by sorting at source based on the principle of recycling.
  • Motivate and train our employees to think and work in accordance with our environmental policy from a risk-based mindset.
  • Encourage our suppliers to provide environmentally sound products and services.
  • Encourage our suppliers to spread Risk Based Thinking in their organization.

7. Anti-Corruption

At Sekura Cabins A/S, we have a zero-tolerance policy for corruption, bribery, or other unethical business conduct. Integrity and responsibility are core values in everything we do, which is why we commit to:

  • Never receiving or giving gifts, money, or services to gain advantages that violate the law.
  • Ensuring that our business partners and customers share our high standards of business ethics.

In practice, this means that:

  • Gifts and hospitality may only occur if they are reasonable, transparent, and cannot be perceived as bribery.
  • All financial activities must be documented and monitored to ensure full transparency and compliance with the law.
  • Employees who experience or suspect corruption are encouraged to report it immediately through our whistleblower scheme, or to their manager or HR.

Sekura Cabins operates as a cashless business. This means that all transactions and payments within the company must be conducted electronically. This approach is part of our strategy to enhance security, transparency, and efficiency in our financial processes.

By actively opposing corruption, we contribute to fair competition and an ethically correct workplace. Violations of this policy will be taken seriously and may result in disciplinary actions, including termination.
